FULL RECAP

December 26, 2025 — 12:00 PM.

"What is your name? What is your favourite bible verse? What lesson stood out to you in 2025?" We opened the fellowship with a self-reflection exercise wrapped in an icebreaker, as we (re)introduced ourselves to one another. New faces, old faces, all eager to fellowship with one another and God in our midst. Outside, the wind is gusting, carrying snow that layers the ground, the vehicles, and everything in sight. All we can see is white, but we are here, regardless of the weather.

Our introduction becomes a form of worship across the board as we proceed. Romans 8, the whole and parts of it, recur as a favourite Bible verse; core themes of the faith and a foundational understanding of life in the Spirit are unmissable. For some, endurance and provision, for others, memorable moments that God had faithfully brought them to experience, like the joys of fatherhood.

We moved into a talk on Endurance afterwards. One key thing that stood out was that good things take time, and as Christians, God is asking us to endure and be patient. In the context of Abraham in Hebrews 11:8, God counted his tarrying as faith. In this manner, God is asking of us to tarry; in the last days, things will worsen, but we must endure, for this is the faith that produces righteousness before God’s eyes for the glory of the time that is to come.

We closed up the session with boasting about the goodness of God and testifying about the end of ourselves for there after was the beginning of his grace; the sufficiency and perfection thereof.

We took a break to reenergize and then returned to worship God with songs of praise and worship. We broke into the songs of worship that the Lord had given us at the Vol. 2 Camp: Lifting Yahweh high, declaring our freedom and acknowledging His love, and asking Him to make us whole and ready. There was an emphasis on unbelief and asking God to help our unbelief in response to the topic of endurance in these last days.

“I’m not afraid cause I have your spirit with me.

Life is hard, but I have no choice but to believe

For what profits a man with the whole world

If he forfeits or loses his soul?”

Out of nowhere, the Holy Spirit overtakes us from within, and songs of praise and thanksgiving overpower our solemnness. We sing of his faithfulness since the beginning of time; the eligibility for his great name that no one can ever qualify for. After this, we took a few minutes to write down what God was placing on our hearts for the new year in that moment.

The evening had come; it was easy to appreciate the snow in the darkness, reflecting the light. We divided into men's and women's sessions. Both genders gathered separately for a heart-to-heart conversation about things that trip us up in our daily walks as Christians; things that matter to us as humans and, therefore, to God as His children—topics often overlooked because they don't feel ‘spiritual enough’ or make us feel spiritually inferior.

We gathered together again, where we were led in a brief discussion on being led by the Spirit. It was a packed session that can be summarized with this scripture:

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."—Romans 8:14 (KJV)

Afterwards, we broke into a plea for the Holy Spirit to lead us with permission; a call to deliverance from our fleshly desires. With joy in our hearts, we sang praises unto the lord and danced our hearts bare before him. We danced and sang until time and location no longer permitted us to continue. Oh, what a day of rejoicing it will be for the saints when we gather in heaven, praising the mighty one; when time and location are unable to stop us.
